Q: How much do tickets cost?

A:  Tickets are for an entire vehicle.  You only need to purchase one ticket per vehicle and it will allow entry for everyone inside the vehicle.

Q: I can’t make it on the day I originally purchased the tickets, can I use them on another night? 

A: Yes, you can exchange your ticket by contacting Evvnt Ticket Support.  In your email requesting an exchange, please include the email address you used to purchase the ticket and a phone number in case there is a need to call.

Q: Can I get a refund on my ticket?

A: The event is a fundraiser for the Parks Alliance of Louisville and our public parks, so we do not offer refunds.  We are happy to exchange your ticket so you can attend on a night that works for you, but if you can't use the ticket you purchased, your ticket price will be a donation to our public green spaces.  Thank you.


Q: When does the event close for the night?
A: Cars will no longer be allowed to enter the line past 10PM on Sunday - Thursday and 11PM on Friday and Saturday.


Q: What are the hours?
A. The event opens at 6:00PM. We are asking cars to arrive no earlier than 5:00PM. The hours of operation are 6:00PM – 10PM (Sunday – Thursday) and 6:00PM – 11:00PM (Friday & Saturday)


Q: What are the dates for the show? 
A. Opening night is Friday, November 26, 2021. The final day is Sunday, December 26, 2021.


Q: What is the address? 
A: The entrance to the event is 4800 New Cut Road at the intersection of New Cut and Southern Parkway.


Q: Will my younger child enjoy it? 
A: Absolutely!


Q: Can I order tickets online? 
A: Yes: Due to the fact we anticipate sold out nights, we HIGHLY encourage everyone to buy tickets online. You're here now, so just click on the Buy Tickets tab above. Once purchased, you can download the tickets to your phone, or print them off at home and bring them with you to the show.


Q: Can you sell out of tickets?

A: Yes, that is always a possibility. 


Q: What form of payments are accepted?
A: Tickets can be purchased online or at the event with a major credit card. 


Q: What happens if it rains or in the event of severe weather? 
A: The show goes on, rain or shine. In the unlikely event the show is delayed or postponed due to dangerous weather conditions, the tickets will be honored on another day.


Q: What if I want to purchase tickets for my church, business, or civic organization? Do you offer group rates?  
A: Yes, we do.  You can email


Q: Is there a senior, military, or first responder discount? 
A: Due to our pricing structure, there are no discounts.


Q: I’m looking to avoid the crowds. When is the best time to come? 
A: We anticipate the line of cars will be longer on weekend nights. 


Q: What about parking? 
A: Winter Woods Spectacular is a drive-thru event, so there will be no parking.


Q: I’m from out of town. Are there any hotels nearby?  
A: We have partnered with Hampton by Hilton, and they are offering a reduced rate for Winter Woods Spectacular guests.  For information and pricing, click here.


Q: Is camping or RV camping permitted?

A: No. Our public parks are not designed for overnight camping. There are nearby campsites located in the area. 


Q: How many stained-glass windows are there? 
A: There are scores of custom-built stained-glass windows, in addition to themed sets and millions of lights.


Q: Who produces the show?

A: The show is produced by Hey Bob Productions, the same creative talent behind Jack O’Lantern Spectacular. 


Q: If I don’t live near Louisville, KY – Where else can I see the event? 

A: Nowhere else in the galaxy does this event exist.  If you want to see the wonder and magic of Winter Woods Spectacular, you need to visit Louisville. 


Q: Who do the proceeds benefit? 

A: Proceeds benefit the Parks Alliance of Louisville, a 501(c)3 dedicated to improving Louisville’s public parks ~ for present and future generations.  


Q: Can I take pictures? 
A: Yes, but we recommend you turn off your flash for the best quality picture.
